Ingredients

tablespoon brown sugar, 10 grams of coriander, 10 grams galangal (kencur), 1
lime, 1 teaspoon of shrimp paste, salt, and pepper.
Directions :

Shred the beef and shred the
coconut

Slice the garlic and brown it

Heat shrimp paste a little bit
·
Get lime juice
·
Mix garlic, chilli pepper, brown
sugar, coriander, galangal, shrimp paste in a blender

Mix evenly with beef and coconut
and the spice mix above add salt, pepper, and lime juice

Form thumb-sized pieces from this
mix, and stick each on a skewer

Barbecue until done

unforgettable experience. Last week, our school held an English Festival.
Every student had to dress a film character. I decide to dress up like Snow
White. I tried to wear a gown which my mother has sewed. It was like snow
white’s dress. I wore it a night before the day of English Festival. I looked
at my self in snow white’s dress in front of the mirror. Em…….I was very
pretty.
The day was coming, it’s time to
me to be snow white. When I was performing my character on the stage, all of
the audients laughed. “Oh God, what happen.” I said to my self.

of my friends said “ Your shoes by pointed my shoes.” And I turned down my

You will need:
200 fresh
tempe, mashed
150 g
minced chiken

shallots, mashed
2 cloves
garlic, mashed
½ tps
ground pepper
½ tps
ground coriander

1 tps salt
24 sate skewers 1 egg, beaten 200 ml frying oil frying
Steps :
1. Mix tempe and minced chicken
2. Season with shallot, garlic, pepper,
coriander, cumin, and salt.

seledri. Mix well
3. Divide into 12 parts
4. Take each time 2 skewers and put the
mashed tempe mixture around it
5. Coat with beaten egg and fry
until brownish

Indonesia is one of the most

large of religious as well as non-religious festivals are held in this

during the month of January, then you can check out the celebration of the
New Years Day on the 1st of January or attend the Lomban Festival.
The latter is celebrated by the fisherman of the country. They thank the sea
for whatever they have caught during the year.
In the month of March, the
country celebrates the Kasada festival, when people pay tribute to their
ancestors by offering flowers, chicken and fruits. In april, the Nyepi or the
day of silence is observed. This festival is also known as the Isaka New
Year. The Bali Arts Festival is one of the famous festivals in Indonesia. A
large number of cultural shows and grand processions are held on this month
long festival. It gives one a true picture of the culture of the country.
In the month of August, the
country celebrates its Independence Day. The celebrations are held on the 17th
of August. You can watch the parades or the air shows on this grand day.
Speaking of Indonesian festivals and events, tourists can check out the
celebrations of the Hari Raya Puasa. This festival is an important religious
festival of the country.
Beside these, there are numerous
festivals held in the month of July, September, November, and December. The
festivals and events in Indonesia, with their colourful processions and
cultural performances are worth attending. It’s a time of merry making when
people come together and enjoy by singing, dancing and organizing grand
feasts.
